[ Ramse chuckles, reaching out and rubbing her back in a sleepy gesture of comfort. ]

[ she grabs her pillow and drops it on his face ]

[ Lsdfghdhf pillow to face. There's more low laughter behind it before Ramse pulls it down out of the way. ]

Aww, c'mon it was harmless. [ He rubs at his face and sits up beside her, having to shift around because they were just cuddled that close. ] Do you remember how I got here, by any chance?

Um... not exactly.

And I can't get drunk, so I know it wasn't in a tequila showdown.

You don't know how you got here?

[ He shakes his head. ]

No, and I'd still be feeling it if I got drunk enough to not remember something.

Not that I'm complaining -- has anyone ever told you that you're incredibly comfortable?

[ she doesn't know how to respond to that, so defense mechanism: go ]

[ she doesn't think he is. she's teasing. she wouldn't care anyway. but this is strange. ]

[ He'd offer to get out of her hair but he'd have to wake up someone from his own ship to come and get him since he definitely didn't come over by shuttle. ]

It's not every day that I wake up with you in my bed? So, a little.

I don't think so. I've been told I make a good pillow.

[ It's strange to wake up somewhere else, sure, but as long as neither of them minded... actually he the opposite of minded. ]

No, it's not. I mean, I'd probably have to be crazy to kick you out.

[ she laughs to herself, nerdily, and doesn't elaborate. And suddenly realizes she hopes he doesn't mind the fact that she's wearing a tank top and bikini briefs instead of full pajamas. ]

[ Um, totally not minding that. Koff. ]

What do you mean, you'd have to be crazy..?

[ It seems perfectly sane to him to kick out someone in your bed that you didn't invite there, even under these circumstances. He could take the couch, now that Winn has his own room. He'd just rather not, for a couple reasons. ]

Because you're my friend who also happens to be really not bad to look at. So I know you're not going to try anything, and you know that if you did I could use my laser eyes.

Not the laser eyes! I'm a gentleman. [ He's settling back down, though, because it's more comfortable for them to fit when he's on his side... he props his head up on his arm and reaches out for Kara to come snuggle. ]

I do want to see what you can do sometime, though.

[ she doesn't get to snuggle much in her life, mostly with her sister, but this is decidedly un-sister-like, so she takes him up on the invite, reclaiming her pillow from where it landed ]

Just not on you. Got it. Jim is paranoid about using the heat vision on the ship, which I get. I just don't know that it would make everything explode like he thinks.

Maybe on the next planet.

[ Ramse is extremely snuggly. He's solid and warm and already knows how they fit together since he woke up first, so he's the one to press against her side and wrap an arm around her waist. His other arm is trapped between them but he bends it up to play with a lock of her hair. He's used to being either the pillow or the big spoon, so this is different but surprisingly comfortable. ]

Minimal explosions and fires, we'll bring a bucket of water or something.

[ she's trying to be cool, but while she's not exactly sure what's going on, she doesn't dislike it. there's a weird flutter in her chest ]

I'll just use my ice breath on it.

[ Cuddles are happening, Kara, it's okay. Ramse seems entirely himself, in any case. Because as a gentleman, everything is platonic until the other person makes it known otherwise. ]

Do most superheroes have powers that cancel out other powers they have? I don't remember that being in any comic books.

I mean, I'm still the only superhero I know, besides my cousin, who has basically the same powers. But there's no reason I can't have both heat vision and ice breath.

We need to find more superheroes and take a poll.

[ This close, his voice is hardly more than a rumble that she can feel in her chest. Ramse drops the lock of her hair and snuggles down closer, reaching to take her hand. ]

Maybe later. Too comfy now.

[ takes his hand and leans into him a bit ]

Heh. [ He tangles their fingers contentedly. ] I'm not that good a liar, I really have no idea. Someone will probably have to come get me in the morning if it was Atroma's teleporting trick. But don't put sneaking into your bed past me from now on.

I'm just surprised I didn't wake up until you woke me up.

[ look, she's trying to get a feel for the situation ]
