[ It's probably no surprise that he starts out chaste, reaching up to brush his fingers along her jaw as he deepens it slowly, a brush of tongue over her bottom lip preceeding a very well mannered slip into her mouth. His movements are certain but gentle, coaxing responses from her. ]

[ she rises to meet him more, one arm moving to steady herself, and moving the other to rest lightly on his neck. she certainly doesn't want to rush the moment (and isn't entirely convinced it isn't a dream still) so the impression is much more one of exploration than urgency ]

[ He knows this isn't a dream -- his dreams are never so nice. But he's content with exploration, with taking things slow and careful. It's as he would with anyone new but especially Kara. She matters too much to rush it so he lets her set the pace, his hand warm and strong as it slides back to help her hold up her head. ]

[ she's happy to kiss for awhile, but not being back to full strength here, she probably needs and wants to take a moment to breathe. when she pulls back, she's flushed and she can't stop herself from grinning a bit ]

[ Ramse reclaims his hand to trace over her bottom lip, damp and swollen from kissing. He admires the color in her cheeks and the sparkle in her eyes and thinks that he's stupidly lucky that he wound up here, that they're doing this. Maybe he should send Atroma a fruit basket. ]

[ she bites her lip, still smiling, and nods. she looks down his body and runs her hands along his ribs ]

I'm pretty good. How are you?

[ That elicits a little shudder; it's been awhile since he's been touched like that, since someone's looked at him that way. He slides down on the arm he was propping himself up with, resting his head on that hand. ]

Also good. [ Kinda wondering where this is going, or where it should go. Since first kisses when you're already in bed together don't usually happen... and he took it insanely slow with the last woman he was with. But definitely good. ] Just thinking that I'm really lucky.

Yeah, what is that about? I'm not complaining... but guys you're crushing on don't usually show up in your bed.

I guess Atroma thought we needed a push. I'm not complaining either.

...I wouldn't have guessed, you know.

Really? I guess I'm smoother than I thought.

Like glass. Or I'm just really out of touch with these things. Could be either.

[ No tentacle flowers here! Really! He kisses back, a bit bolder, this time his hand settling on her hip above the sheets. Like a gentleman ~~already in her bed~~. ]

[ which she does appreciate. she's perfectly happy kissing with her hands on his sides. this is a very good use of time. much better than sleeping.

she's no real expert at kissing, but she's not bad. I'm sure there's at least one hilarious teeth bump ]

[ He wouldn't call himself an expert either, though he's got more experience -- there's not all that much opportunity in the apocalypse. And there's a learning curve with anyone new so he takes his time, learning what she likes, running his tongue along her palate and sucking softly at her lips to let her breathe now and then.

Is it getting warm in this bed or is it just him? ]

[ it's certainly not just him. she places a hand over the hand he has on her hip and moves his hand upward, dragging along her body. It's over her pajamas, but the material isn't particularly sturdy. She rests both of their hands, hers over his, on her breast ]

[ Well he's not passing up that invitation. She gets a little squeeze and then his thumb is swiping over her nipple through the shirt, before gently rolling it between his fingers. Again, testing to see what she likes, what gets the best reaction. ]

[ kara, being the least cool person probably in the galaxy, snorts a laugh. she knew it was coming. she knew it. and it still took her by surprise. any cool points she might have had are definitely gone now, but she doesn't want to discourage him ]

[ Ramse lifts his head, but he's smiling when he does. ]

Hey, you put my hand there. Or is that just the weirdest place to be ticklish?

No, it's just you figuring out I'm deeply uncool.

I did put your hand there. I want your hand there.

It doesn't get a lot of play, okay?

Well my hand likes it there, so I'm hoping it'll come around.

[ He bumps their noses playfully. ]

And I like your laugh.

Even though I snort?

[ she'll kiss him briefly before he can answer ]
